TILT SUPPORT

CSU's PLAN GOALS SUPPORTED by TILT

Fostering instructional innovation in traditional, hybrid, and online courses; facilitating course redesigns; encouraging the use of high-impact practices (HIPs); and leveraging learning analytics, educational technologies, and our Unizin and Reinvention Collaborative partnerships.

Improving graduation, retention, persistence, and placement rates while closing academic achievement gaps to promote an 80% graduation rate for the 2020 cohort.

OUR MISSION

To promote students’ academic success, TILT programs facilitate vision, learning, and achievement.

Vision

We help faculty to envision curricula and instructional approaches based in research on learning and teaching. We help students envision themselves as graduates equipped to pursue their professional, civic, and personal goals.

Learning

We help students learn how to learn. We help faculty learn to design courses and pedagogies that promote robust, integrative, and self-regulated learning.

Achievement

We help students achieve academic, co-curricular, and leadership success. We help faculty achieve instructional effectiveness. We help departments achieve curricular excellence.
